Outcome in the Early Years: The State of Tasmania’s Young Children 2009 - A report on the Tasmanian Early Years Foundation’s Outcomes Framework was launched on 30 June 2009 at Bellerive Primary School.
One of the Foundation’s key research priorities has been to find a way to measure the outcomes related to how well children are faring. This report has been produced by the Foundation as a one-off document. Its purpose is to explain the outcomes-based approach, showcase the extensive range of information now consolidated into one major database, and point the way to how this information can be used by all those with an interest in the health and wellbeing of Tasmania’s young children.

A small error has been identified in the population data on page 17 that was incorrectly reported, particularly for local government areas in the North-West. The errata includes amended data which aligns with population data used throughout the remainder of the report.
