The Tasmanian Early Years Foundation (TEYF) sponsored the recent visit of Dr Margy Whalley, (Pen Green Children and Families Centre, UK), her second visit to Tasmania in twelve months. Margy spent nine days in Tasmania speaking at a number of forums and attending meetings with government officials, CFC project team, University of Tasmania, and the Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) - evaluators of the CFC project. The Foundation sponsored this visit as part of the its funding to support the Child and Family Centre learning and development program. A strategic priority of the Foundation is to be a strong advocate for the ongoing development and implementation of child and family centres in Tasmania and the learning and development program underpins this commitment.
