• Ms Leigh Taylor

Leigh Taylor has a background in education and teaching and has worked in these fields for over 30 years.  After completing a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education with the University of Tasmania, Leigh became a teacher in a range of fields covering Special Needs, Transition and Career Education, Pre-Vocation Education and Literacy and Return to Study for Adults.

In recent years Leigh has held Director and Deputy Director roles within the Department of Education.  Leigh was also involved in the establishment of 30 Child and Family Centres across Tasmania.

Leigh believes that the model that the CFC's were developed upon has laid the groundwork for establishing a range of integrated early years services that will positively impact on those communities where these centres are established.

Leigh was appointed to the Board in 2010.
