- Associate Professor Sue Kilpatrick

Associate Professor Kilpatrick is the Dean of the Tasmanian University Department of Rural Health. Associate Professor Kilpatrick's research interests are social capital, agriculture, small business and vocational education and training in regional Australia. She has published extensively in these areas and worked as a consultant and researcher with rural communities at the local level.
Associate Professor Kilpatrick’s recent work has involved her evaluating a number of projects for children aged 0-5 years and their families and hosting a workshop with a number of community organisations (including St Giles, Salvation Army and Anglicare).

| In addition, she is involved in the Communities for Children project that aims to help families and communities build better futures for children, build family and community capacity, support relationships between families and the communities they live in, and improve communities’ ability to help themselves. The Southern Tasmania project covers the four local government areas of Brighton, New Norfolk, Central Highlands and Southern Midlands. |
