• Board

The Act provides that the Foundation is to be governed by a Board comprising of ten members. The Board has been chosen to have an appropriate blend of skills and experience to progress and champion the objectives of the Foundation.

The Board consists of the following members:

• seven persons appointed by the Minister for Community Development, the Hon Michelle O’Byrne MHA who have the skills and experience to further the objectives of the Foundation;
• the Commissioner for Children;
• the Secretary, Department of Premier and Cabinet; and
• the Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services.

Department of Education - Observer

To ensure a whole-of-government perspective and synergies across all sectors, the Foundation has invited an observer from the Department of Education to attend Board meetings.
