• Governance structure

To assist the Tasmanian Early Years Foundation in meeting its objectives a sound governance structure has been established drawing on the expertise and experience of the Board Members.

We have an Audit Committee, a Grants Assessment Panel and a Research Project Committee have been established to assist the Foundation to undertake its functions.

Audit Committee

The committee will ensure transparency and accountability in the management of funds, including donations, bequests, corporate sponsorship and investment of funds.

Grants Assessment Panel

The 2011-12 panel will assess all grant applications against the grant guidelines criteria to ensure the allocation of funds are targeted effectively across the sector in Tasmania.  The panel will then make recommendations to the Foundation's Board.
